1 MM is a project born out of concern for the amount of microplastics in the water, therefore, in everything we ingest.
Microplastics measure approximately 1 millimeter making them almost impossible to filter.
One of the main sources of the production of microplastics are the synthetic materials that come off clothes with these components, this increases due to the lack of knowledge of our clothes and the poor care we give them. For example, when it comes to washing, we are used to seeing certain symbols on the labels but we have no idea what they mean.
This is how the idea of creating a campaign through social networks to help raise awareness of microplastics, making a guide to wash your clothes and not die trying was born.
This campaign was quite successful in generating a great impact within the environmental/activist community that focuses on this issue. Asking us to collaborate to generate more content.
Despite having been very successful, for various reasons we were unable to continue with the project. This has undoubtedly been one of the projects that made me see the lack of creating campaigns that unite different disciplines to create diverse and attractive content.
