HERMIT COWGIRL

Editorial photographic series, where the styling is inspired by a “cowgirl” woman.

We sought to portray a ranch woman, hardworking, dedicated and self-sufficient, exhausted from her daily life and who dreams of being able to escape. 

This project was created at the beginning of the pandemic and was done using clothes that my acquaintances had and a projector. 

One of the challenges was to create spaces  that evoke a feeling of nostalgia within a room with concrete walls. 

The texture that was achieved in the photos, thanks to the projections, is a great success because despite everything we had at our disposal being “flat”, it created a game of depth, color and feelings.
